For the first time at the Co-Op we'll be putting on an Indian Whisky Tasting, hosted by Sneha Rao from Paul John from John Distilleries.
John Distilleries is based in Bangalore, but its single malt distillery is located in Goa. The distillery has one set of Indian-made copper pot stills (wash and spirit) that can produce 3000 litres daily. Maturation takes place in a climate-controlled underground cellar that has around 10,000 Bourbon barrels.
The company had been making blended whisky since its foundation in 1992, but decided to manufacture single malt whisky in 2008.
Learn about the Paul John story and taste some drams coming of the country which has the highest whisky consumption in the world!
Invites are being sent out to Whiskey Co-Op members on World Whisky Day, Saturday 19th May.
☆ Available only to members of the Whiskey Co-Op. For more info on how you can join or to sign up online, visit www.thewhiskeycoop.com. Non-members reservation will be cancelled without notice ☆
